Electromagnetic lock
Invented by – Sumner "Irving" Saphirstein
Sumner "Irving" Saphirstein created the first contemporary direct-pull electromagnetic lock in 1969 for use on the doors of the Montreal Forum. Saphirstein first proposed using an electromagnetic lock made up of a linear stack of door holds. A locking device made up of an electromagnet and an armature plate is known as an electromagnetic lock, magnetic lock, or maglock. Electric locking devices are divided into two categories. There are two types of locking devices: "fail safe" and "fail secure." When power is gone, a fail-secure locking device stays locked. When de-energized, fail-safe locking devices unlock.

Laser printer
Invented by – Gary Starkweather
Gary Keith Starkweather was an American engineer and inventor who is best known for developing the laser printer and colour management software. At the Xerox Webster Research Center in 1969, Starkweather devised the laser printer. Gary Starkweather started working on a laser printer concept, a machine that could print any image made by a computer. Computer printers were available at the time, but they were enormous, cumbersome mechanical machines with numerous drawbacks. To continue refining his idea, he cooperated on the first completely working laser-printing machine at Xerox PARC in 1971 after building a rudimentary prototype.

Mousepad
Invented by – Jack Kelley
In 1969, Jack Kelley came up with the idea for a mouse pad. It was just a simple insert designed to hold the world's first computer mouse. Kelley worked at Herman Miller, a furniture manufacturer founded by Douglas Englebart. He only constructed the extremely basic mouse pad to support Englebart's invention and didn't think much more of it. It wasn't expected that the mouse pad would have much of an influence. When Apple released the Macintosh 20 years later, the mouse pad became more valuable, just like the computer mouse.

Glue stick
Invented by – Henkel
After observing the "twist-up ease" and convenience of lipstick applicators, Henkel invented the world's first glue stick in 1969. Consumers finally had a clean and convenient technique of glueing, and the world of glue has never been the same since. Glue sticks come in twist or push-up tubes and are strong and robust adhesives. Users can apply glue by rubbing the exposed stick on a surface while holding the open tube to keep their fingertips clean. The brand name Pritt Stick is frequently used as a generic phrase for any glue stick in the United Kingdom.

Lunar Module
Invented by – Tom Kelly
In 1969, an American aerospace engineer named Thomas Joseph Kelly designed the lunar module. Kelly worked for Grumman Aircraft on the Apollo Lunar Module as a project engineer, engineering manager, and deputy programme manager. Kelly worked primarily on the Apollo Lunar Module, earning him NASA's title of "Father of the Lunar Module."
