Sulphur Lamp

Invented by – Michael Ury, Charles Wood and their colleagues

Michael Ury, Charles Wood, and their colleagues invented the sulphur lamps in 1990. The sulphur lamp (also sulphur lamp) is a full-spectrum electrodeless lighting system that uses sulphur plasma that has been stimulated by microwave radiation to generate light. They are a specific form of plasma light, as well as one of the most advanced. The technique was developed in the early 1990s, but by the late 1990s, sulphur lighting had proven to be a commercial failure, despite its initial promise. Internet

Invented by – Tim Berners-Lee

While working at CERN in the 1990s, British scientist Tim Berners-Lee devised the World Wide Web (WWWW). The Web was created to address the demand for automated information sharing among scientists at universities and research organisations around the world. The WWW's primary concept was to combine computer, data network, and hypertext technologies into a powerful and user-friendly global information system. Tim Berners-Lee had the first Web server and browser up and operating at CERN by the end of 1990, demonstrating his ideas. On a NeXT computer, he wrote the code for his Web server. A hand-written label in red ink was placed on the computer to prevent it from being unintentionally turned off.
