Camera phone

Invented by – Sharp

In the year 2000, the camera phone was introduced, and it altered the lives of millions of people all over the world. It allowed individuals to snap images and films immediately, thus killing the digital camera industry. Camera phones became widely available in the year 2000. USB flash drive

Invented by – M-Systems

While Israeli company M-Systems patented the USB flash drive in 1999, IBM did not sell the first USB flash drive in the United States until 2000. The USB, dubbed the DiskOnKey, carried only eight megabytes. Bluetooth

Invented by – Nils Rydbeck

Bluetooth 1.0 was first released in 1999, but it wasn't until the year 2000 that manufacturers and major mobile carriers began to integrate it into their devices. In June of 2000, the Ericsson T36 was one of the first Bluetooth-enabled phones to hit the market. Nils Rydbeck, CTO of Ericsson Mobile in Lund, Sweden, began developing the "short-link" radio technology, subsequently known as Bluetooth, in 1989. According to two innovations by Johan Ullman, SE 8902098-6, issued 1989-06-12, and SE 9202239, issued 1992-07-24, the goal was to build wireless headphones.

Segway Human Transporter

Invented by – Dean Kamen

The Segway Human Transporter is the world's first self-balancing, electric-powered vehicle. The Segway Human Transporter is a personal transportation system that stays upright thanks to five gyroscopes and a built-in microprocessor. Dean Kamen's team created a game-changing technology called "Dynamic Stabilization," which is at the heart of the Segway. Segway self-balancing emulation can now work in unison with the body's movements thanks to Dynamic Stabilization. The Segway HT's gyroscopes and tilt sensors track the user's centre of gravity 100 times per second. The Segway HT travels forward when a rider leans forward slightly. The Segway moves back when you lean back. The battery lasts 15 kilometres on a single charge.

Apple Pro Mouse

Invented by – Apple

The Apple Mouse (formerly known as the Apple Pro Mouse) debuted at the Macworld Conference & Expo in New York City in July 2000. Apple was the first firm to provide an optical mouse as standard equipment with all of its desktop computers. While Apple's in-house designers handled the complete industrial design of the Pro Mouse, Sparkfactor Design designed part of the hardware. The Pro Mouse was featured with the Power Mac G4 Cube, which was also unveiled at Macworld that year. The Apple Pro Mouse was a USB mouse with a 2-foot wire that was meant to fit neatly into one of the two ports on the Apple Pro Keyboard's built-in USB hub, unlike its ADB predecessors. The Apple Pro Mouse also included a unique mechanism that allowed for three different click force settings for the required mouse pressure.
